You may receive quarterly dividends, depending on your percentage of share. You receive your share of capital appreciation once the property is sold (at the end of the five years), or when you sell the shares on the Secondary Marketplace (coming soon).

You can sell your shares on our Secondary Marketplace (coming soon) to interested buyers after a minimum 90-day holding period after the deal has closed. There is no penalty for ending the term early; however, there will be a nominal transaction fee.

Most BuyProperly investments have a lock-in period of five years. We constantly analyze market trends and consider each property’s evaluation at regular intervals. In the event of a sudden spike in a property’s evaluation, you’ll see an increase in the value of your portfolio; if you wish, you can sell your shares on the Secondary Marketplace (coming soon).

In the unlikely event of a real estate market crash, we have made provisions for an extension of one year (at a time) based on a majority shareholder vote.
